My Journey

I’ve spent years shaping clay by hand, learning the subtle art of pottery with patience and care.

I started making pottery at 17 when my father helped me build a kick wheel in the garage. That was the begining of an obsession that took me from a bachelor's degree at San Diego State University to a Master's degree from the University of Montana.

I spent the next 36 years developing a ceramics program and teaching at Florida Atlantic University. Even though I truly enjoyed teaching, I have since retired and after building my dream studio at home, now I dedicate my time to making pots.

Location

My studio is nestled in the quiet heart of the Acreage in West Palm Beach , where every piece is carefully shaped by hand.
